Bush beast
Barely a four-wheel-drive arrives these days without the claim that it is umpteen times better in the suburbs than its predecessor. After all, the city is where most 4WDs spend most of their life. So the emphasis seems to be on vehicles being easier to park, better at tackling roundabouts and an all-round better companion in the peak hour grind.
Pretty boring really, at least for those who actually like to get out of town once in a while and explore some of Australia’s less trodden tracks.
